As the new academic year 2012/13 has started, we @ the Center for Political Studies, restarted our regular English-speaking club - rebranded as American Club in Spring 2012.
A full dozen of participants showed up, both regulars and fresh ones, including a group of first year International Relations students @ Donetsk National University.
It was great we were joined by Richard, Peace Corps volunteer, who came closer to the end, but nontherless made it through the labyrinths of the University!
It was also fun to play "Funny Faces" name game - my invention :) And, most of all, I was amazed to see how much students know about the US - a discovery made when playing a board game on US Presidents.
Will also have to remember an idea of the "US States' Flags" game - having seeing the enthusiasm of all who ever played "World Flags" game (need to start stockpiling prizes for future winners already).
