Visit to Honolulu city hall turned out to be perfectly timed to meet US Congresswoman Mazie Hirono and the Lieutenant Governor of the State of Hawai'i Brian Schats.
Mr. Schats, having learned that I was from Ukraine, exclaimed that his grandparents came from Ukraine too.
On the way to the ACLU from a meeting in the State Capitol, met with an officers from the Attorney General' office, who told about a restaurant kept by a Ukrainian couple in downtown Honolulu. In his words, their beef stroganoff was so delicious, one had to stand in line early in the morning to get it.
